Zitti (seed valuation $18.5M, acquired by a Fortune 500 company) is a B2B mobile and desktop app that streamlines back-of-house operations for restaurateurs. Operators can pay their bills, compare food costs, and place orders directly with their vendors through the app.

My role

I joined Zitti as its first hire, starting as a Senior Product Designer. Within a few months, I transitioned to Director of Product Design, helping scale the app from 0 to over 200 restaurants, 150 vendors, and 150,000 products.

Overview

We designed an AI chatbot to complement Zitti's ordering tool. Powered by a large language model (LLM), it enables operators to effortlessly query their data and gain actionable insights. Focused on user needs and cost efficiency, the chatbot offers a simple, intuitive way to streamline operations and make smarter decisions. Future iterations could enhance its capabilities to access all app tools, allowing users to complete tasks like ordering, paying bills, and utilizing market data.
